Something I really like about some of Marion's work is her “lets make some great art” collection of activity books. It allows children to be really creative through lots of different tasks such as giving them different shapes and asking them to transform them into different things such as animals or using their fingerprints to illustrate different things.

I really love the illustrations for her children clothing collection “ARKET Limited Edition” and the use of children's fingerprints and handprints to make the base with simple illustrations drawn on top to create faces and animals. It is so simplistic yet so creative and cute!!

Another piece of her illustration work which I really like for the menu of Carluccios between 2011 and 2015. From some pieces being just simple fine line drawings, with and without colour and some more detailed fine art pieces. My favourite illustrations on the menu are definitely the fine line pieces with watercolour or bold colour backgrounds.

On Marion's webpage there is a section which has many different worksheet for kids (or in this case adults) to create simple pieces of art using your hands, fingerprints or drawing simple shapes with a pen. I tried out the activities “Draw a simple bird” and “Draw a bicycle”!

I really like Marion's work and how she uses illustration and art to teach children and encourage them to be creative. Her work is so interesting and is very inspirations especially for this module.
