This week we had to choose 3 of the following icons to use for the master apprentice technique from the collection of icons below:

The feedback I was given on these was to sweat the details such as the exact line sizes, the weights of each like and little details such as positioning of the 2 objects of the icon or the rounding of edges. I will make sure to take this feedback on board when producing week twos.
An example of my illustrator
This week I tried using illustrator to create my icons which was extremely hard only being able to work the simplest of logos. As it is brand new to me I didn’t have to skills to create the exercise to the quality or way I would like to so I resorted back to using Figma. On the side I would like to grow my skills in Illustrator so I can start using it.
I recreated the same icons I created last week but applied my formative feedback to it while creating it:
