My Ideas

My idea for my project is a musical theatre music app which plays all of your favourite musical theatre songs, radio channels and podcasts. I wanted to try and stretch my imagination for this brief and not just go for a copy of a standard music app like Spotify.

I started by mind mapping what I would like to be included and drawing up some ideas and wireframes or basic concept looks.

Some ideas I wanted to include are:

• A personal welcome or “Good Afternoon” message on the home screen
• Music, radio and podcast
• Currently playing bar at the bottom of the page
• A sleep timer
• Lyrics
• Change the volume on play screen
• Horizontal scroll of sections
• Horizontal scroll but the selected is bigger than the others ( like BBC sounds)
• Share to devices
• Queue when you scroll down on play screen
