My major project idea is a hospital based app which helps children navigate their hospital experience although I am still not sure which exact area of the journey and what interactions to cover, I wanted to get across the main idea. This solutions based heavily on children's experience of going into hospital and focused around how play in hospitals can help improve children's mental health, fears and worries
I received some really good feedback from all the lecturers although the common consensus was that my project idea needed be be refined further as at the minute it was too wide. It was suggested the primary focus should remain on the children’s journey with a parent portal considered afterward if I have time as the overall flow will be similar.
As well as that Kyle suggested not focusing on the play aspect in hospitals as it makes the whole project too broad and wide but instead prioritising how I could improve the core hospital experience such as the onboarding experience of coming into hospital experience for children. It was also suggested I could focus on creating an experience for neurodivergent children as these are the area who tend to suffer the most due to struggling with changes in their environment and external factors.

This feedback will be really useful as I continue forward with my research as well as mapping out what area of the whole experience I want to focus on to improve.
