I started off locking at a range of typefaces for existing banks to get a good idea of what typefaces they use especially the newer modern banks. The newer and online brands all tend to go for a sans serif font most likely because of it’s feel and readability. I will take this into consideration when looking for fonts and types.

As I have not decided between Nexus or Root I decided to look at typefaces for both of them to give me a better idea of what I would like. I used a combination of Adobe fonts, Google fonts, Grillitype.com, fontsinuse.com and different type foundries for this.
