After creating the current journey map, I developed a second journey map outlining the proposed journey to demonstrate how my project could enhance the hospital experience for both children and parents by using an app based narrative approach. This will help support the next stages of the design process by helping me identify opportunities within the wider service design and help begin developing detailed user flows.

After developing a general journey map for both children and parents, I chose to create a more detailed child-specific journey map, as children are the primary users of the project. This helps me better understand their thought processes and identify ways the project can improve their experience.

Creating a user journey map outlining a users potential path will help guide my feature development and overall service thinking as I move forward. I will be able to define my key features as well as use it to help begin outlining my service design blueprint.
